Fastpitch Softball L.E.L Champs once again. Defeating everyone from our Lake Erie League and the Erie League our team is very competitive and driven to be the very best. With a young team, all of our players are returning except for Sarah Liptak. “Our core players are returning stronger than ever,” says head coach Joe Tagliarini, “With there dedication to off season games and work outs, our team for the 2005/2006 years is going to the the team to beat.” With a final record of 17-5, the varsity lady dawgs clinched the L.E.L for the sixth time in eight years. Also, with the J.V lady dawgs finishing with a 16-2 record, it shows great possibilities for Garfield Heights fastpitch softball for the future.
