Track & Field Broken hurdles, worst track imaginable, broken pits, etc. are among some of the insurmountable obstacles our track team faces. In the face of adversity, they overcame the odds that were so overwhelmingly against them, they sent members to compete in the OHSAA State meet. Among them were District Champion, Vince Sara. In addition, with the levy issues we face in Garfield, the Track & Field team was forced to be cut from the budget and was taken away from the student-athletes throughout our years at GHHS. Overcoming the odds, painted a clear picture to the central office, that we need Track & Field.
