Wrestling The Garfield Heights wrestlers and coaches put all their time and strength into the long wrestling season. With practice every day and months of cutting weight, it’s clear that these boys give it their all. Senior Ray Arnold says “My favorite part of wrestling is eating after weigh-ins”. This year the team competed in many tough tournaments including the Bill Dies and Brecksville tournament. They were also victorious over schools such as Holy Name and Normandy in dual-meets. Although they are a team, most wrestlers would agree that their individual records are more important. “If you make mistakes in a match, it’s not on your team, it’s on you”, says Senior Justin Berdysz.
